Use of the Lyapunov Functions for Calculating the Locally Optimal Control of a Thrust Vector during Low-Thrust Interorbital Transfer

Abstract— This paper presents a method for locally optimal control of the thrust vector electric propulsion system (EPS) spacecraft that performs multiturn interorbital transfer from initial elliptical orbit into geostationary (GSO). The represents time dependences angles characterize EPS orientation in space. Here, it is assumed always on. proposed algorithm belongs to class feedback algorithms and based on using Lyapunov functions. Numerical examples are presented, which operability technique. Considerable attention paid comparison given solutions with obtained within framework maximum principle formalism.
